While it’s hard to tell exactly which sensor that is, Cubic is generally a good brand and the size definitely indicates an NDIR sensor. I would say it’s probably quite accurate!

I found technical specs about the sensor

  • CO2-range: 400ppm - 5000ppm
  • CO2-resolution: 1ppm
  • CO2-precision:
    • ±(5%rdg + 50ppm) from 400ppm - 2000ppm
    • unkown from 2001ppm - 5000ppm

This is pretty standard for an NDIR sensor (which is a good thing here!).

Definitely more than accurate enough to get good insights from.
