Atmotube PRO 2 Announced

Atmo has just announced the Atmotube PRO 2 on its website. Something that quite excites me as their first generation device is one of my favourite portable devices.

You can find my full review here:

It looks like the PRO 2 has had a $60 price increase from the original device (which was $189 as far as I can remember), but it’s also added an CO2 sensor. It also now has a built-in GPS, and apparently much better battery life. I am very much looking forward to getting one for review!

You can find the device here: Atmotube PRO 2 — portable air quality tracker – ATMO® Store (affiliate link).

The new PRO 2 continues to use mostly Sensirion sensors and you can find a full comparison of the two devices here:

Hi! In your review (Atmotube Pro 2 Review - Was It Worth the Wait?), you wrote that the app has an offset setting for temperature and humidity readings. I also purchased the Atmotube Pro2, but the app settings only allow calibration and setting of CO2 values. Using a salt test, I determined that my Atmotube Pro2 displays relative humidity 7 percent lower (68 instead of 75), and it would be nice to be able to adjust this offset in the device settings, but unfortunately, this isn’t possible in the current app version (1.0.12).

Hi @FiVa13,

Thanks for joining the forum!

You should be able to find the RH and temperature offsets under Sensors → Advanced → T/H. It looks to allow a ±10% RH compensation.

The current app version (on iOS) is 1.5. Are you using Android? I am unsure how else the version could be so different!

Hi!

Yes, I use Android. I also received the Atmotube Pro today, and the Android app has settings for adjusting temperature and humidity offsets and calibrations. It’s strange that the manufacturer didn’t implement this functionality for the Atmotube Pro2.

That is very odd as I have the option on iOS. It seems like the two app versions aren’t feature-equivalent which is sad to see.
