I’m wondering about suggestions for specifically a low-profile and breathable mask for working out, but specifically to fit under a fencing mask. I have seen other threads about working out more generally, but my issue is needing one that is both breathable and does not stick out too far from my face so that it will fit under the mask.
I currently use a FloMask and I love how breathable it is. I do have issues with fogging under my fencing mask. I have been dealing with the fogging up, but the arguably bigger issue that I’m having is that I end up having to size up my fencing mask to fit the flomask under it, and this is causing other fit issues with the fencing mask. I would like to find something that is similarly breathable but would let me use a correctly-fitting fencing mask. For breathability, I think I need a mask with some amount of structure to hold it away from the face, and I would prefer behind-the-head straps but I could use ear loops if needed I think.

Fitting something under a fencing mask would be quite difficult I imagine, and I’m surprised you’re able to wear a FloMask - even if the fencing mask is up-sized! Have you looked into something like ReadiMask? I have a feeling it might be the best alternative: https://readimask.com
The biggest potential issue with it is mask collapse, but I think this could be overcome if it’s fitted without too much give in the filter material.
Have you tried any masks other than FloMask? If so, what were your experiences? It might give a me a bit more insight for further suggestions.
