Giving Back to the Clean Air Community – AirSpot Affiliate Program

Hi everyone,

Rob here from AirSpot :waving_hand:

Firstly, I just wanted to say a genuine thank you to this community. The conversations, insights, and shared commitment to cleaner indoor air have played a meaningful role in shaping what we’re building.

For those who aren’t familiar, AirSpot is a small, wearable CO₂ monitor designed to help people better understand the air they’re breathing — particularly indoors, where most of us spend the vast majority of our time. Our initial focus has been on people who are highly conscious of airborne health risks, and we’re now starting to expand into areas like elite sport and performance environments.

I wanted to share something that may be of interest — especially for those who have supported us or are already talking to others about air quality.

We’ve recently set up an affiliate program, and the intention is pretty simple:
:backhand_index_pointing_right: to give something back to the community that has supported AirSpot from early on.

If you’ve found value in CO₂ monitoring, indoor air awareness, or AirSpot specifically, this is a way to:
• Share something you already believe in
• Help raise awareness around ventilation and airborne risk
• Receive a commission in return

There’s absolutely no expectation here — just an option for those who feel aligned.

As always, I’m very open to feedback — whether that’s on the product, the messaging, or how we can better support this community.

Thanks again for everything you’ve contributed. It genuinely matters.

Rob

I’ve always liked how your company is focused on giving back to the community and making sure that you do things ethically.
I think that the generative AI video at the bottom of the page gives off a message that is antithetical to the values that you have previously embodied.

In light of the ethical considerations of replacing real actors with clankers, I suggest you remove the video or reshoot it with a real human.

Thank you - I agree - it’s a very good point. Ai generated characters can be a real turn off and there are better ways of doing things.

With sufficient funding we will certainly look to employ real actors for our videos. The voice over is also ai generated.

We have to be careful with where we spend our limited resources - our focus is always to do our best to deliver clean air everywhere with the resources we have. We won’t always get things right yet our aim is always the same - clean indoor air everywhere.

I am not sure if you are positioned to help generate a video which resonates well within budget however if this is something you can assist with I would be most grateful to address this further.

All the very best.
