Welcome to the Community - Rules & Disclaimers

Hello everyone - and welcome!

After a lot of thought, I decided to give a dedicated forum a try. I don’t know exactly where this space will go, but I wanted to create a place where people interested in air quality and related topics can talk, share ideas, and learn from each other. While forums may feel a bit old-school, none of the modern platforms quite matched the kind of thoughtful, focused discussion I was hoping to foster - so here we are.

My vision for this space is simple: to build a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging community where people who care about air quality, health, and our environment can exchange knowledge and support one another.

Community Guidelines

To keep this forum positive and useful for everyone, please keep these principles in mind:

Be respectful

Treat others with kindness. Disagreements are normal, but insults, harassment, discrimination, or hostility are not acceptable. Civil discussion is what makes a community worth participating in.

Maintain a friendly environment

This is a space for enthusiasts and learners alike. Help keep it welcoming, approachable, and supportive.

No spam or unauthorized promotion

This forum is for discussion and information sharing - not commercial advertising. Affiliate or promotional links may be removed at moderator discretion.

Follow general forum etiquette

Use search before posting duplicates, stay on topic, and choose clear titles to help others find information later.

Moderation actions - including editing posts or banning accounts - may occur when these guidelines are violated. These steps exist to protect the community, not punish participation.

Transparency & Disclosures

To support the ongoing operation of BreatheSafeAir & CleanAir.Community, some posts may include affiliate links. This means I may earn a small commission if purchases are made through those links - at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links may be added or removed by moderators in accordance with forum policy.

Thank you for being here - I’m glad you joined.

Hi Ethan
Having followed your masking reviews in the past, i was wondering if you had done anything in the area of portable air purifiers? Seems like they are a great EAQ and post Covid trend that has maintained momentum, where masking of individuals has fallen off. Purifiers do all the work to respond to the measures made by the sensors (thanks for initiative by the way) by making our lives healthier.

Hi Nick,

It’s great to hear from you. I don’t currently have many air purifier reviews (portable or otherwise), but I am interested in this field and would like to get more involved in it.

I have seen a big increase in the number of portable air purifiers on the market in the past year or so. It now seems like there are tens of good options and it’s hard to know where to start!

I will hopefully begin with a few of these portable devices towards the later half of this year.

Thankyou for having me. Fresh air is definitely something i need
